چکیده
This study reports an experimental investigation of pool boiling (PB) heat transfer performance hybrid (two types particles) and mono (single-particle) nanofluids consisting Boron nitride (BN) Silicon dioxide (SiO2) nanoparticles (NPs). While (HNFs) were prepared in a total particle concentration 0.05 vol.% with four different percentages these two NPs (are 0.01/0.04, 0.02/ 0.03, 0.03/0.02, 0.04/0.01 (BN vol.%/SiO2 vol.%)), (MNFs) BN SiO2 at the same for each NP type. Both (NFs) base fluid (BF), which is mixture 15 ethylene glycol (EG) 85 distilled water (DW). Then, MNFs HNFs was assessed by experimentation test rig. The obtained results demonstrated good improvements critical flux (CHF) burnout (BHF) both NFs. CHF increased up to 80% BN-based MNF 69% HNF 0.04 BN, maximum percentage into HNF, while lowest improvement 48% SiO2-based compared BF. Similarly, BHF found increase increasing loading enhancement 103% observed. These exhibited significantly improved this BF, it became lower HNFs.

Pool Boiling Heat Transfer Characteristics of Nanofluids by Sung Joong
Nanofluids are engineered colloidal suspensions of nanoparticles in water, and exhibit a very significant enhancement (up to 200%) of the boiling Critical Heat Flux (CHF) at modest nanoparticle concentrations (50.1% by volume). Since CHF is the upper limit of nucleate boiling, such enhancement offers the potential for major performance improvement in many practical applications that use nucleat...

Nucleate pool boiling heat transfer coefficient have been experimentally measured on a horizontal rod heater for various liquid binary mixtures. Measurements are based on more than three hundred data points on a wide range of concentrations and heat fluxes. In this investigation, it has been confirmed that the heat transfer coefficient in boiling solutions are regularly less than those in p...

In this investigation, nucleate boiling heat transfer coefficients were experimentally measured during pool boiling of mixtures, consisting of water/monoethanolamine and water/diethanolamine on a horizontal heating rod, under atmospheric pressure. The experiment was carried out below 205 kW.m-2 heat flux, over a wide range of concentrations. These experiments include, measurement of pool boilin...
متن کاملDetermination of Pool Boiling Critical Heat Flux Enhancement in Nanofluids
Nanofluids are engineered colloids composed of nano-size particles dispersed in common fluids such as water or refrigerants. Using an electrically controlled wire heater, pool boiling Critical Heat Flux (CHF) of Alumina and Silica water-based nanofluids of concentration less than or equal to 0.1 percent by volume were measured. Silica nanofluids showed CHF enhancement up to 68% and there seems ...
